New Year in the Highlands of Scotland
The Hotel is open as normal over the festive period and for the nights leading up to New Year we have some very special entertainment lined up.....
30 December
Arrive early in the Highlands and enjoy a day out. Why not take a trip across the Corran Ferry or enjoy a leisurely tour of Fort William.
Check in is from 3.00pm and we shall have a wonderful bottle of house red or white wine awaiting in your bedroom to help get you in the spirit of New Year.
A full a la carte dinner is served in our Restaurant in the evening. We shall have the real fire lit in the Railway lounge or why not enjoy a relaxing malt whisky in the Captain's bar.
31 December- Hogmanay
Explore the wonderful Highlands of Scotland, take a trip to Oban or enjoy a spectacular walk on the St Johns high road to Ballachulish. We can help plan your day with walks and tours.
Join us for some mulled wine in the Captain's bar before a wonderful celebratory dinner served in the Seafood restaurant.
The evening festivities begin in earnest with a traditional Highland Ceilidh, make sure you bring your dancing shoes!
We shall really set things off with fireworks launched from our own pier (you can safely see them from inside if you wish!) The traditional highland dish of stovies will be served just when you need it in to the wee small hours.
1st January - New Year's Day
Enjoy a lie in if you wish with breakfast served till late. A glass of Bucks Fizz will really set you in the mood for either that local Munro you have had your eye on or something less challenging, maybe a trip around the Lochan at Glencoe or a leisurely stroll on one of the local beaches.
Complimentary mince pies and tea or coffee will be served all day in the Captain's bar.
